DAY 1: Arrival in Kasane, Botswana
WELCOME TO BOTSWANA!
Upon arrival at Kasane International Airport, our guide will greet you. From here, you will be taken directly to your accommodation. Time to put your feet up, settle in and take in your first impressions of Botswana.
DAY 2 & 3: Chobe River
After a hearty breakfast, let's go: We're heading to the legendary Chobe River for two nights! First, a quick stop at the immigration office, where our houseboat team will take care of your luggage while you get your passport stamped. Welcome aboard the Chobe Princess or Zambezi Queen - your floating luxury hotel for the next few days!
On the program: bird watching, wildlife photography, fishing or a visit to the impressive 2000-year-old baobab. The evenings? Pure highlight: breathtaking sunsets and a 5-star dinner under the stars.
DAY 4 & 5: Impalila Island
After two unforgettable nights on the houseboat, it's on to Impalila Island, at the easternmost point of Namibia in the Zambezi region (formerly Caprivi). Here we check into the dreamlike Ichingo Chobe River Lodge one. The perfect starting point for exploring: The Kasai Canal, which leads directly into the mighty Zambezi, is waiting to be discovered. Birding, wildlife photography and maybe even a catch of the famous tiger fish - there is something for everyone here.
DAY 6 & 7: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Now it's getting spectacular: The last part of our journey takes us to the impressive Victoria Falls. After breakfast, we cross the border into Zimbabwe and check into our accommodation in the charming small town of Vic Falls.
The first day is all about the “Thundering smoke” - exploring, marvelling and photographing the majestic waterfalls. On the second day, we relax with a Zambezi River Cruise, this time on the upper side of the falls. A magical finale to your safari! Please note: Visa fees are paid directly at the Immigration Office in Zimbabwe.
DAY 8: Departure — Victoria Falls International Airport
Shuttle or transfer to the airport and flight back home — with memories that will last a lifetime.
